Grotta di Capo D'Acqua (Lazio)

The Capo D'Acqua spring is located in the valley of the Amaseno River, about 100 Km south of Rome, Italy. The cave is completely submerged from the entrance. The water surfaces in a pond forming a stream which flows into the Amaseno river. The cave's maximum depth is of 27 m and it has been explored for about 400 m. Beyond this point the cave narrows down, preventing further explorations.
